Description

General Summary of Job Duties:


A count Team Member performs the functions of both Drop and Count Team Member. The Duties consist of being responsible for the proper collection, verification and reconciliation of unverified coin and currency in a safe, compliant, timely and friendly manner. Demonstrated ability and knowledge in the areas of Drop and Count Machinery, and machines for the purpose of processing money and verifying dollar amounts. Position requires lifting of a minimum of 50 lbs.; the ability to operate heavy carts, count machines and input on required equipment and the ability to work in small teams.

 

Principle Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Is responsible for collecting, counting, posting and all Coins, Currency and ticket revenues from all assigned sources and transfers verified funds to the Cage.
  • Accurately count, verify, total and enter monies from revenue departments with assigned documents and/or equipment.
  • Count, straps and bundle verified currency through the use of assigned equipment by supervisory team.
  • Counts and wraps verified coin through the use of assigned equipment by supervisory team.
  • Maintains accountability and security of all monies and keys within his/her control.
  • Performs basic routine maintenance of assigned equipment and report problems to their supervisor.
  • Transports unverified monies to the Count Room. These duties require the ability to lift 50 lbs., bending, pushing and carrying of objects.
  • Performs all duties in compliance with Silverton Rules, Policies, Procedures, Internal Controls and State Gaming Control Board Regulations.
  • Such other job-related duties as may be assigned by instruction from management.

Qualifications


Skills, Education & Other Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to calculate and verify monetary denominations.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate count and input equipment.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Physical capabilities to meet the requirements of the job.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in small teams.
  • Good organizational skills.

Physical Requirements of Job:
