Location

This is a hybrid position. You must be in the Ottawa, Canada office, at least three days a week. 

About the Team

This co-op/internship is with the Core Algorithms Delivery Team focused on solving complex supply chain challenges faced by various industries including Life Sciences, HighTech, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Oil and Gas, and Automotive. You will be closely working with teams building features tailored to the needs of its industry, helping companies plan and deliver essential products more efficiently and reliably. You’ll be part of a collaborative group that values clean code, thoughtful design, and real-world impact; supported by experienced mentors and a culture that encourages learning and growth. All this, while having great fun!

This is a full-time, 8 or 12-month position, starting January 2026.

To be eligible for a Co-op or Intern position at Kinaxis, you must either be currently enrolled in full-time education or, if you are a recent/upcoming graduate, your graduation date must be within 12 months of the placement end date.

What you will do

• Work under the guidance of a dedicated mentor who will support your learning journey
• Collaborate with developers and testers on feature development and performance improvements
• Build and maintain tools for testing and debugging
• Participate in team discussions, share ideas, and learn from others

What we are looking for

• Completion of at least 1st year of studies in a Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent) program
• C++ programming experience preferred, willingness to expand knowledge
• Interest in Object Oriented design and software development best practices
• Strong technical aptitude, especially in algorithms and data structures
• A drive to improve performance and build efficient solutions
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Strong initiative and drive to get things done!
• Enthusiasm for working in an agile development environment
