Partnership ESP chez Winchester Public Schools, MA

Muraco Elementary School in Winchester Massachusetts is seeking an ESP (Education
Support Professional) to join our Partnership Program.
 
The Partnership is a flexible inclusion program for students with social-emotional
disabilities that interfere with their ability to access the curriculum. The Partnership
Team is a highly trained, supportive group of professionals. The Team includes
classroom teachers, a special education teacher, a BCBA, a school psychologist, and
ESPs who work in concert to promote students’ academic and social-emotional growth.
 
Job responsibilities include:
- taking data for individualized positive incentive programs
- assisting students with transitions and emotional regulation
- supporting students in the classroom with academic work
- working closely with the classroom teacher to provide students with accommodations
and modifications
- regularly conferencing with the team to monitor student progress
 
The candidate must have experience with de-escalation techniques and experience
working with children who experience emotional dysregulation. Previous safety care
training is preferred, but will be provided.
