TITLE:  Recess Assistant

 

REPORTS TO:  Principal of Crooked Billet Elementary School

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  10 Month, Student Days only, 2.5 hours/day (10:50a-1:20p), paid as worked, $13.51/hr.

 

BENEFITS: personal days, sick days

 

LOCATION:  Crooked Billet Elementary School

 

PRINCIPAL FUNCTION:

  • Supervise students in the cafeteria during lunch.
  • Supervise students on the playground during recess.
  • Teach students how to play at recess to be safe and have fun.
  • Praise students for positive behavior.
  • Teach children how to meet expectations for appropriate behavior.
  • Monitor student behavior to ensure student safety.
  • Clean tables, if needed.
  • Attend various trainings which the district may offer

 

 

Please note that the following are a required part of the new hire process: 

  • Child Abuse Clearance
  • FBI Clearance
  • PA State Background Check
