THE WORK
- Aegis Officer Operator instruction and curriculum development: This individual will provide Aegis and Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) curriculum and instruction for our U.S. and international program customers.
- Develop innovative training solutions and recommendations to support emerging training requirements.
- Provide technical liaison between the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), product development teams, and internal and external customers.
- The tasking involves developing Aegis and Ballistic Missile Defense curriculum and training personnel at various levels, including Tactical Action Officers, Anti-Air Warfare Commanders, and Ballistic Missile Defense Commanders.
- Support may include, but is not limited to, Aegis, Ship Self-Defense System (SSDS), FFG, Coast Guard, Army, and Space programs.
The position requires domestic and foreign travel, and the primary work location is Dahlgren, VA, with alternate locations available in Suffolk, VA, or Moorestown, NJ.
*US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain a DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position.

-Qualification and experience as a Tactical Action Officer (TAO)
*US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain a DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position.

-Experience as a Master Training Specialist (MTS) is also desirable.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
