Job Summary
The WAREHOUSE TEAM LEADER works under the direction of the warehouse manager; oversees unloading of product; provides training and work for others; keeps product organized and restocked in warehouse; can fill in for warehouse positions; misc. duties.
Job Duties and Responsibilities

- Supervise, direct and work with your teammates.
- Train, coach, motivate, appreciate and develop employees/teammates
- Unload incoming product
- Verify product with packing slip
- Put product away in its designed spot
- Track productivity of each teammate and hold them accountable for reaching goals.
- Responsible for managing and resolving conflict in the work environment by using the company values as a guide.
- Notify/work with the warehouse manager on items that need done or improved.
- Work with the warehouse manager on staffing needs.
- Make sure everyone observes all safety rules.
- Have a “to do” list for each area, post so other team members knows what needs attention and when it needs done.
- Make sure all products is put and kept in their designated area and product is restocked daily.
- Respond to after hour alarms.
Job Requirements
- Ability to express ideas clearly both in written and oral communications.
- Must possess a friendly and helpful attitude.
- Ability to plan and organize.
- Ability to delegate work and train others.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds on a continuous basis.
Expectations:
- Assists in the hiring, training and evaluation of employees.
- 10 or less missed ships per month due to warehouse errors.
- Product should be in its designated spot and warehouse layouts need updated within 1-2 weeks of receiving.
- Increase/maximize employee productivity
- Unload all product within 1 day of arriving on lot
- Enforce safety and company policy and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of supervisor experience or equivalent education or go thru K&M University training program.
