ASI has successfully built numerous training systems with a primary focus on aircrew and maintenance training systems. Aero Simulation, Inc. (ASI) is a 100% employee owned company headquartered in Tampa (HQ) and Orlando, FL with offices located nationwide. Locations include Columbus Air Force Base (AFB) (Columbus, MS), Dyess AFB (Abilene, TX), Ellsworth AFB (Rapid City, SD), Kirtland AFB (Albuquerque, NM), Naval Air Station Pensacola (Pensacola, FL), Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Randolph (San Antonio, TX), U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Training Center (Mobile, AL), and Vance AFB (Enid, OK).

The ASI Intern Program provides a strong foundation for future career advancement, providing participants with essential skills and experience to excel in their chosen field. In this role, interns will:
- Be paired with a full-time staff member for one-on-one mentoring opportunities
- Contribute and work on real-world projects
- Engage in training opportunities for professional development
- Attend workplace and life skills workshops to aid in soft skills development for young professionals
Requirements
ADDITIONAL REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers
- Ability to adapt communication style and messaging to different audiences
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, ensuring stakeholder expectations are managed appropriately
- Ability to work in a project-oriented, fast paced environment to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in common business software (Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook, Power Point, Excel, SharePoint)
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Working towards at a four-year degree in the required discipline
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Due to contractual requirements must be a United States Citizen
- Must be able to pass an initial background check
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Department of Defense security clearance. Employee/selected candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information (as required)
- Travel (CONUS and/or OCONUS) is required to support on-site integration, testing, and acceptance which may include extended periods at customer locations
- ASI is a Drug Free Workplace where applicants and employees are required to successfully pass pre-employment and Random drug testing
