Main Focus:
Various positions along the packaging line making sure the MEKP is packaged safely and efficiently.
Accountabilities:
- Loading bottle pallets in the depalletizer.
- Loading cartons in the carton machine.
- Ability to train Packing line worker 1
- Understands and can setup all equipment on 4x8 and HP line. (with supervision from Packer 3)
- This is a safety sensitive position.
Responsibilities:
- Bottles
- Physically puts the 1 gallon bottle pallets into the depalletizer.
- Makes sure the lot number is going on the bottles correctly.
- Monitors the filling , dye addition, capping and lot number.
- Cartons
- Loads the carton machine with cartons.
- Monitors the case packer.
- Monitors the top taper
- Training
- Ability to train new team members the duties needed to be a Packing Line worker 1.
- Equipment
- Can load sleeves on the sleever.
- Can change out caps on cap machine.
- Can enter lot numbers into bottle and carton printer.
- Change tape on top taper and carton machine.
Requirements:
- Chemical handling experience
- Be able physically lift 50 lbs
- Ability to distinguish colors.
- High School diploma/GED equivalent.
- Ability to work rotating shifts.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Be proficient with tablet-controlled equipment.
- Have a proactive safety mindset by participating and engaging in all safety activities including compliance with all rules and regulations.
- Must be able to understand verbal and written forms of communication.
- Position will require the ability to climb stairs and successfully navigate congested sites without injury.
