A lovely family in Cubbington is seeking an occasional babysitter for their two children, ages 6 and 9, with an immediate start. Backup care will typically be needed 1-2 times per month, primarily for Friday or Saturday evenings between 6:30pm and 11:00pm, occasionally extending to midnight. There may also be some weekday evening needs within the same time frame, though care would end earlier. The family will always provide at least 1-2 weeks' notice for upcoming care needs. Applicants do not need to be available for every request, but should understand that this is a casual, intermittent role with no guaranteed weekly hours. The home also includes a friendly cat - no pet care is required. The family is looking for a reliable and engaging babysitter who can build a relationship with the children.

Responsibilities
- Assist with bedtime routines (bedtime starts around 7:30pm)
- Engage children in play and conversation
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of childcare experience
- CPR certified, or willingness to become certified
- Legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Secondary School diploma (A Level) or equivalent
- Able to provide 2 childcare-related references
- Able to successfully clear a background and social media screening
- Must speak fluent English
- Must reside within 20 minutes from Leamington Spa/Cubbington
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the family's home
Compensation
This position pays £10 per hour, and the family is looking for intermittent care, as needed.
