Job Description:We are looking for a AP Data Processing Officer, on a 12-month maximum term contract, to join our ASX listed company, working in a small but varied team offering a hybrid working environment!
What is this role about?
The AP Data Processing Officer will provide essential support to the Accounts Payable team throughout a new system implementation period. This role involves delivering a range of processing services and is responsible for executing the day-to-day tasks required to assist with the timely and accurate handling of payables.
The responsibilities in this role include but are not limited to the following:
- Data Entry of tax invoices ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies, controls, and procedures
- Administer creation/modification of Vendor accounts
- Assisting with the preparation of vendor payment runs, transfers, international, ad hoc or urgent payments
- Engage with suppliers and internal staff assisting with invoice and account queries
What you’ll bring
To succeed in this role, you’ll have:
- Previous experience in data processing in Accounts Payable preferred
- Proven accounts payable experience in similar role
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with key stakeholders
- Strong work ethic and can prioritise, multitask, and work within set frameworks
- Computer literacy, Outlook, Word & Excel
