Senior Technician, Quality Assurance

12-hour rotating shift (7 AM – 7 PM)

 

The Senior Technician, Quality Assurance is responsible for ensuring that products are in compliance with our specifications and meet the company’s quality and integrity standards. This role ensures that all finished products and incoming packaging goods are produced/ stored in an GMP environment by conducting rigorous inspections of the finished product packaging areas. The Inspector, Quality Assurance works closely with packaging, logistics, and production teams to ensure a high standard of finished product for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual inspections of final products and materials to ensure compliance with quality, GMP, and specification standards.
  • Conduct food safety audits, support HACCP teams, and report compliance findings to management.
  • Inspect deliveries, coordinate with logistics, and represent Quality Assurance during third-party inspections and audits.
  • Work closely with packaging, logistics, and production teams to maintain GMP standards and address quality concerns promptly.
  • Follow safety protocols, including PPE usage, and ensure adherence to company policies for receiving and inventory management.
  • Support special projects and provide backup for other Quality Assurance functions as needed.

You Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance or a technically related field.
  • Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift (7 AM – 7 PM), Monday – Sunday.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present findings to management.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of cGMP standards and quality compliance practices.
