At PALFINGER, we believe strong financial management drives our success. We are looking for a Credit & Collections Analyst to join our team in Schaumburg, IL. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you will play a key role in assessing customer credit, managing timely collections, and helping maximize cash flow while minimizing risk. Working closely with our sales team, you will ensure a customer-focused approach that keeps partnerships strong and accounts healthy.
_____Your Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate credit applications, financial statements, and reports to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Set and manage credit limits, monitor exposure, and proactively recommend updates to protect the business.
- Request, organize, and maintain all necessary customer documentation.
- Oversee order releases to ensure timely processing and risk management.
- Monitor outstanding accounts and drive timely collections to support healthy cash flow.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or a diploma in finance, business administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in credit analyst and collections; member of credit association would be an asset
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Advanced level MS Excel skills
