At PALFINGER, we believe strong financial management drives our success. We are looking for a Credit & Collections Analyst to join our team in Schaumburg, IL. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you will play a key role in assessing customer credit, managing timely collections, and helping maximize cash flow while minimizing risk. Working closely with our sales team, you will ensure a customer-focused approach that keeps partnerships strong and accounts healthy.

Your Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate credit applications, financial statements, and reports to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Set and manage credit limits, monitor exposure, and proactively recommend updates to protect the business.
• Request, organize, and maintain all necessary customer documentation.
• Oversee order releases to ensure timely processing and risk management.
• Monitor outstanding accounts and drive timely collections to support healthy cash flow.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or a diploma in finance, business administration, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in credit analyst and collections; member of credit association would be an asset
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Advanced level MS Excel skills
