About the role
We are seeking a UAT Test Lead to join our highly collaborative and efficient Customer Delivery team. The UAT Test Lead is responsible for implementing testing strategies, developing and executing test plans and test cases, and providing production implementation confidence in changes to existing processes that have been tested and accepted in line with required Project / BAU requirements for Customer Systems.
The UAT Test Lead will be required to provide strategic direction, undertake planning, scope the testing required, estimate the effort and duration of testing, and determine resource requirements.
The UAT Test Lead is also expected to undertake hands-on test scripting and execution and be proactively involved in the continual maturity of the function.
Day-to-day, you will:
- Liaise with project stakeholders to engage in testing activities.
- Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all testing processes and procedures established according to the standards defined within the TCoE Test Strategy.
- Resource planning and ongoing management of team structure.
- Analyse business requirements and keep track of requirement changes.
- Review Solution Architecture and Design documentation.
- Identify and manage risks, assumptions, and dependencies and training requirements & track.
- Track timely delivery of planned milestones.
This role will suit someone with transferrable skills and experiences, including:
- Previous experience as a Test Lead in large, complex transformation projects.
- Strong software testing background with experience in all test levels, and various Testing methodologies (Agile, V-Model, Waterfall and Hybrid).
- Stakeholder management and engagement skills
- Extensive experience in the testing of complex integrated platforms (Onboarding; Transactional; Customer & Billing; Payments) or similar technologies.
- Experience in working with testing tools and technologies such as Q Test ALM, Jira, Confluence.
- Passion and experience for driving process improvement.
- Has proven people leadership and the ability to drive high performing and engaged teams
- Highly proficient in Excel
- Solid communication and presentation skills
- Resilience and Adaptable to change
