Position Profile: Bookkeeper / Accounts Administrator

REPORTS TO – Finance Manager / Operations Manager
OTHER KEY RELATIONSHIPS – Head Office team, Retail and Store Leaders and Retail Assistant Team.

LOCATION - Smith St, Fitzroy 

AVAILABILITY – Full Time

PROBATIONARY PERIOD – 6 months

Role Overview

The Accounts Administrator will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting day-to-day accounting functions, and ensuring smooth financial operations across the business. This position requires strong organisational skills, accuracy, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.

About you

You're an admin gun, having worked with high volume data before, and you get kick out of spreadsheets. You enjoy working with a fast pace but you’re meticulous and always deliver high quality work. And you love exploring the world of beverage - you’re the go-to for all your mates on what to try next.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, including supplier invoices and customer payments.
  • Manage daily bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.
  • Maintain accurate financial records in the accounting system 
  • Support month-end processes, including journal entries and reporting.
  • Liaise with suppliers, store managers, and staff regarding financial queries.
  • Assist with inventory reconciliation in coordination with the operations team.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial files, records, and documentation.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance and operations teams as required.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounts administration, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Clear and professional communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in retail or hospitality environments (advantageous but not essential).
