About Us:

Dymocks Education, part of the renowned Dymocks Group, is on a mission to become a market leader. As a key player in our scale-up journey, we're looking for an energetic Sales Team Lead who lives and breathes sales. This isn't just a job; it's a calling. We need a star performer who is passionate about driving team success and smashing targets. If you genuinely enjoy helping customers find the perfect solution, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to make a real impact on a growing business and the lives of students, this is the perfect role for you.

About the Role:

This is your chance to step up, lead a high-performing sales team, and be rewarded for your success. We offer an excellent salary of $80,000 to $110,000 (incl. super) and a generous performance bonus of up to 50% of your base salary. You won't just be managing; you'll be a hands-on leader, spending about half your time driving your own sales and the other half coaching and mentoring your team to greatness. Working with the Head of Sales, you will be a driving force for growth across our Sydney locations, with a real opportunity to shape your career as our business continues to scale.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, coaching and motivating a team of sales team members across multiple sites.

  • Driving the team to consistently exceed enrolment and revenue targets, conversion rates, and key KPIs.

  • Personally handling inbound leads and sales conversations.

  • Delivering weekly one-on-one coaching sessions to help your team grow and improve.

  • Tracking performance, analysing data, and making decisions that improve the effectiveness of the sales team.

  • Creating a warm, welcoming environment for students and families.

  • Acting as the go-to for escalations and complex questions.

What We're Looking For:

We're looking for a confident and energetic leader who thrives in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment. You are:

  • A Leader and a Player: You have a proven ability to inspire a high-performing sales team while consistently smashing your own sales goals.

  • An Exceptional Coach: You possess strong coaching and communication skills, capable of leading impactful 1:1s, team huddles, and customer conversations.

  • Customer-Focused: You have a genuine passion for understanding customer needs and guiding them to the right solution, ensuring a positive experience.

  • Data-Driven: You love sales data and know the key metrics that drive peak performance and are able to simplify them so that all team members can understand and work to them.

  • A Growth-Minded Achiever: You bring a proactive, solutions-focused approach and are excited by the challenge and opportunity of a business in a scale-up phase.

  • Tech-Savvy: You have confidence using CRMs and sales tools.

  • You have a current Working With Children Check (or a willingness to obtain one).

Desirable:

  • Experience in education or tutoring.

  • Proficiency in Mandarin or another second language.

  • Prior experience managing sales teams across multiple locations.

Why Join Dymocks Education?

  • Be Rewarded for Success: A full-time role with an excellent salary and a generous bonus potential of up to 50% of your base.

  • Grow With Us: This is a chance to join a growing business and shape your career path as we continue to scale.

  • A Winning Culture: Join a fun, friendly, and driven team.

  • Make a Real Impact: You will lead a team that shapes the learning journey of thousands of students.

  • Enjoy the Perks: Get employee discounts across Dymocks Group products and services.

  • Christmas Shutdown: get a real opportunity to rest and energise each Summer with our 3 week shut-down.

Location & Hours:

This role is based across our Sydney hubs: Chatswood, Epping, Parramatta, Burwood and Hurstville.
