Job brief:

We are looking for a results-driven Manager – Social Media to lead social media content and creative delivery for US-based small businesses. You will manage a team of Social Media Specialists (SMS) and ensure that the social content resonates with US audiences while meeting quality standards. The ideal candidate will have exceptional command of English writing and comprehension, with a keen eye for detail. A deep understanding of American English, conversational styles, cultural nuances, and geography is a must. Your leadership will help our clients engage customers, strengthen their brand presence, and achieve measurable outcomes in a competitive digital landscape.

What will you actually do?

You will:

  • Establish and maintain a robust quality assurance system to ensure each team member delivers high-quality content.
  • Continuously assess content quality, including outputs from tools/LLMs, to ensure they meet US cultural and client standards.
  • Provide both general and targeted feedback to agents, fostering continuous improvement.
  • Perform root cause analysis on quality issues and collaborate with the Operations Manager to implement preventive measures.
  • Handle partner and client interactions related to quality concerns and escalations.
  • Design and deliver training modules, assessments, and refresher sessions for new and existing team members.
  • Support hiring through pre-hiring assessments and interviews to ensure cultural/linguistic fit.
  • Share insights and trends with leadership on quality parameters, team member performance, and audience resonance.
  • Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager to balance quality standards with SLA and delivery goals.

Key Skills Requirement -

  • Excellent command of written English and comprehension.
  • Proficiency in American English, conversational styles, culture, and geography.
  • Strong eye for detail and ability to coach teams on quality.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like LLMs (ChatGPT, Gemini), Canva, and social media ad/content platforms (like Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, or similar).

Qualification and Prior Experience - 

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field (postgraduate degree is an advantage).
  • 10+ years of overall experience in Social Media Marketing (covering posts and ads across platforms).
  • At least the last 3 years focused on managing posts and ads for US-based small businesses or agencies.
  • Experience across multiple industries is preferred, ideally managing content and campaigns for 30–50 US businesses.
