Client Coverage, Associate, Prime Brokerage.
We’re seeking someone to join our team as Associate who is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the client’s accounts including financing, margin, trade clearing and settlement, cash management, and corporate actions.
In the Prime Brokerage and Institutional Equity division, we provide our clients around the world with intellectual insights and innovative product solutions and services that help them generate alpha.

What you’ll do in the role:
Serve as the primary account manager and first point of contact for client issues, overseeing all aspects of the client’s accounts including financing, margin, trade clearing and settlement, cash management, and corporate actions.
Act as a secondary or backup account manager, addressing and resolving client queries related to trade clearing and settlement, asset transfers, cash management, and corporate actions.
Function as the Project Manager for handholding the entire client onboarding process across all asset classes and client types.
Support client integration by hosting weekly calls, providing regular updates, tracking follow-up items, and managing client expectations regarding next steps and timelines.
Monitor and analyse financial products—including equities, bonds, options, futures, repos, CDS, MBS, swaps, and OTC derivatives—tracking cash flows and performance via Morgan Stanley reporting platforms.
Research corporate actions impacting client portfolios and ensure accurate processing in line with event terms.
Handle inquiries from clients and fund administrators with professionalism and responsiveness
Provide support to hedge fund clients in areas such as investor due diligence, fee schedule maintenance and verification, accurate billing, and account lifecycle management.
Ensure timely and accurate resolution of client issues, escalating where necessary and maintaining clear communication throughout.
Conduct root cause analysis to improve straight-through processing (STP) and reduce recurring client issues.
Analyse client data, including balance trends and market share, to identify patterns and opportunities.
Keep clients informed and up to date by introducing the latest prime brokerage technologies and reporting tools.
Resolve complex issues by leveraging cross-functional collaboration and influencing stakeholders across various teams.
What you’ll bring to the role:
CA/ M.B.A. from reputed Institutes
Understanding capital markets and how products trade, settle and are accounted for
Understanding of prime brokerage business
Demonstration of excellent communication and relation building skills
Exceptional organizational skills and a high degree of attention to detail
Ability to identify and escalate issues effectively and appropriately
Familiarity with basic accounting principles
Generalist skill set with the ability to deal with all levels of client organization and our firm's support structure
Ability to handle pressure, prioritize and multi-tasking during the course of a business day
Proven ability to take ideas forward and to challenge current processes with integrity and maturity
Strong project management skills
Proficiency in MS Office and related applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
