About the Role
We’re looking for a Community and Media Lead — the on-camera face of Plane across videos, livestreams, and community touchpoints. But this isn’t only about hosting. You’ll also handle the end-to-end creative flow: recording, editing, and publishing content that helps our community learn, connect, and get inspired.
If you’re equally comfortable in front of the camera and in the editing timeline, this role is for you.
What you will do
Host & Present: Be the on-camera voice of Plane for launch videos, product demos, tutorials, and thought-leadership content.
Shoot & Edit: Record, edit, and produce polished videos for YouTube, LinkedIn, and community channels. (Think Loom-style walkthroughs, shorts, and social reels.)
Educate & Simplify: Turn complex project management workflows into clear, engaging narratives.
Amplify Community: Spotlight customer stories, highlight open-source contributions, and showcase industry perspectives.
Run Live Formats: Host webinars, livestreams, AMAs, and panel discussions.
Collaborate: Work with product, content, and design to script, storyboard, and refine ideas.
Experiment: Test new content formats (snippets, recaps, podcasts) and track what resonates.
What we are looking for
Strong on-camera presence: confident, approachable, and authentic.
3–5 years in video creation (SaaS or B2B is a plus).
Proficiency with editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar; Canva/Riverside for lightweight work).
Experience in scripting and basic shooting setups (lighting, audio, framing).
Excellent storytelling skills — able to make SaaS and project management relatable.
Familiarity with project management tools/workflows is a big plus.
Bonus: livestreaming experience, podcast hosting, or motion graphics skills.
