Job Summary:
The Transition Consultant supports financial professionals as they join the firm by providing guidance, personalized transition planning, and hands-on support throughout the onboarding process. This role consults with financial professionals on business needs, including products, platforms, and clearing firm options, while analyzing their business mix to create customized transition plans that ensure a smooth and efficient move to Cambridge.
The Transition Consultant is also responsible for delivering training on products, services, procedures, and policies, while maintaining training resources and guides. Acting as a central point of contact, this role collaborates with internal departments and external partners to address concerns, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience for new financial professionals. With a strong focus on customer service, process improvement, and industry knowledge, the Transition Consultant helps enhance onboarding programs and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives across the firm.
Essential Duties:- Consult with new financial professionals on their options when joining the firm including various company products, platforms, clearing firm options, and other solutions for their business needs
- Analyze financial professionals’ business mix to create a specific customized transition plan and following through until the financial professional is released from transition
- Schedule, prepare, and administer trainings to educate financial professionals on products, services, procedures, and policies and maintain training guides to provide to financial professionals
- Provide ‘best-in-class’ customer service related to Transition and supply information as needed at request of management, company associates, and financial professionals
- Create and utilize action plans to resolve any issues or concerns that develop during the transition process, interfacing with other departments and external sources when necessary to address questions or concerns
- Maintain and enhance working knowledge of key industry topics, internal programs, and product lines available through Cambridge
- Evaluate and uphold departmental benchmarks and matrices to enhance the financial professional experience by developing ways to implement new products, procedures, and policies
- Participate in various committees, focus groups, and task forces with other internal and/or external customers to create or update information such as company forms, policies, and procedures
The ideal candidate will bring an intermediate level of experience in a customer support role, ideally within the financial services industry.
Compensation: $45,000-$60,000 Salary plus incentive compensation based on successful completion of acquisitions. This range is a good faith estimate of the compensation to be offered for this position based on the ideal candidate’s qualifications, the Company’s operational needs, and other considerations permitted by law. The actual pay offered to a specific candidate may vary above or below the stated range.
