Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Acquisition Manager supporting the Helicopter Program Office (HPO) at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The HPO supports selected helicopter programs including the HH-60W Combat Rescue Helicopter (CRH) and the MH-139. The HPO has a mission to rapidly deliver and field new and updated rotary wing aircraft.
Responsibilities:
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Perform configuration and data management tasks relevant to the performance work statement. The Contractor will prepare spreadsheets, briefings, figures, graphics, tables, forms, and papers, providing finished products in technical and non-technical both classified and unclassified, in the media and format requested.
- Provide advisory assistance and draft documentation support in performing configuration and data management tasks. Tasks that require Contractor support include the full range of Configuration Management (CM) and Data Management (DM) actions required to accomplish specifically assigned work.
- Assist in providing configuration management support for hardware and software. The Contractor will provide advisory support in reviewing program- unique specifications to include system specifications, development specifications, and product specifications for both hardware and software, for proper format, content, assurance of appropriate management of scientific and technical information and export control markings, and compliance with program requirements, appropriate standards, and configuration management practices.
- Assist in generating and maintaining a tracking system of specification updates and Specification Change Notice (SCN) comments, discrepancies, corrective actions, change requirements, change implementations and overall specification status.
- Assist in distributing, logging, creating, and maintaining files of Government-approved change proposal activity. The Contractor will assist in generating and maintaining the change processing tracking system to provide current change status and reports from inception through supplemental agreement, historical information, and metric reporting.
- Assist in performing the duties of the CCB Secretariat. The Contractor will provide advisory assistance and draft documentation support for the preparation and facilitation of CCBs. The Contractor will provide advisory assistance and draft documentation support for the development of reports and charts for these efforts/activities.
- Participate in formal technical reviews (including but not limited to PDR and CDR) of contract end items and in manufacturing/production readiness reviews.
- Provide advisory assistance and draft documentation support for the conduct of FCA, PCA, and compliance audits. Contractor advisory and draft documentation support will include audit planning, auditing hardware and software configuration items (CIs), and generating, dispositioning, and tracking review item discrepancies and tracking action items and minutes.
- Assist in providing technical and administrative support to the status accounting function. The Contractor will assist in reviewing the prime contractor’s status accounting system to ensure accuracy and adequacy of data reported and will ensure achievement of required system configuration and that the configuration meets system operational needs. The Contractor will assist in maintaining status accounting records and databases pertaining to identification documents, such as specifications, parts lists, version description documents, SCNs and change control documents (e.g., ECPs, CCPs, and variances).
- Assist in providing contract data management support. The Contractor will provide advisory assistance and draft documentation support for data users and requesters with the selection and tailoring of Data Item Descriptions (DIDs). The Contractor will assist in preparation of one-time and standard DIDs, as well as providing draft data management forms such as CDRLs and Contractor Data Requirements Substantiation (AF Form 585) for Government review/approval. The Contractor will assist in collecting back-up information, drafting of data call letters for Government review, and supporting the official release upon Government approval.
- Assist in conducting data reviews and coordinate inputs from Program Office/IPT functional personnel into draft CDRLs, prepare draft data review documentation, participate as an advisor in data reviews, draft data review minutes, and maintain status of action items through closure.

Education:
Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD
OR, Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD.
