Responsibilities:
  • Encourage process simplification and continuous improvement across the team

  • Coach team members to deliver exceptional customer support, providing day-to-day guidance to build skills and knowledge

  • Conduct regular performance appraisals, set metrics for accountability, and deliver feedback through scheduled and special reviews

  • Make effective independent decisions on day-to-day issues while involving team members in collaborative decisions aligned with company values

  • Lead hiring, onboarding, and training efforts; design and monitor training programs with documented competencies and ongoing development opportunities

  • Support goal setting and planning by helping the team develop action plans, timetables, and preventative strategies for potential service or system interruptions

  • Organize and facilitate team huddles and quarterly meetings (using the Traction Level 10 format); encourage participation and update resources and procedures as needed

  • Administer departmental policies and procedures, including audits of system activity, accuracy checks, and EPIC/carrier website oversight

Qualifications:
  • Associate degree and/or 2+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and training; commercial insurance experience required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Applied Epic, and internet navigation

  • Strong language skills with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret insurance policies, coverages, documents, and regulations

  • Skilled in writing reports, business correspondence, and effectively presenting information to managers, agents, clients, and carrier representatives

  • State-specific insurance license required

Additional Information:

This job is expected to be performed on-site in the office.

Salary range is $75K to 92K per year.
