From requirements analysis, design, and implementation to operations and training, ADM's personnel are well-versed in best practices across Enterprise IT, Mission Support Services, and Specialized Technologies.
We are looking for an experienced and versatile Business Analyst to serve as a key liaison between our business stakeholders and IT teams. This role is responsible for analyzing, defining, and documenting requirements for projects on our two primary enterprise platforms: ServiceNow (for IT Service Management and operations) and Salesforce (for Customer Relationship Management). The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and have hands-on experience with both platforms, ensuring that technology solutions effectively support our integrated business processes
Responsibilities:- Requirements Elicitation & Management: Lead workshops, interviews, and analysis sessions to elicit, document, and manage business and functional requirements for both ServiceNow and Salesforce initiatives.
- Cross-Platform Analysis: Analyze business processes that span across departments and systems, identifying opportunities for integration and optimization between ServiceNow and Salesforce.
- Process Modeling: Create detailed process maps, use cases, user stories with acceptance criteria, and functional specifications to clearly articulate business needs to technical development teams.
- ServiceNow Focus:
- Work with stakeholders to define requirements for ServiceNow modules such as ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change), ITOM, and CSM.
- Translate business needs into ServiceNow catalog items, workflows, and platform configurations.
- Salesforce Focus:
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and service teams to gather requirements for Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other Salesforce applications.
- Define specifications for custom objects, fields, validation rules, and process automation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact between business users and the ServiceNow/Salesforce development and administration teams, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
- Testing & Validation: Develop test plans, manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and validate that deployed solutions meet the specified business requirements.
- Documentation & Training: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and support the development of user training materials.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with both the ServiceNow and Salesforce platforms.
- Strong understanding of core business processes related to ITSM (e.g., incident management, change management) and CRM (e.g., lead-to-cash, case management).
- Proven ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment, including writing detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency with business process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and project management software (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
Desired Qualifications:
- One or more certifications in ServiceNow (e.g., Certified System Administrator - CSA, Certified Implementation Specialist - CIS).
- One or more certifications in Salesforce (e.g., Certified Administrator, Certified Business Analyst).
- Experience working in government contracting, healthcare, or another regulated industry.
- Familiarity with integration technologies and principles for connecting enterprise systems.
- FDA experience highly desired.
- Must be a US citizen and/or green card holder and be able to obtain public trust clearance.
