The Manager, Asset Risk & Governance supports Operations with asset risk management, document management, governance and standardization of processes. Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of risk management processes, tools, and reporting across Operations and Asset Management, in collaboration with Engineering, Compliance, and Health & Safety teams
  • Establish, publish, and maintain standards, guidelines, and operating procedures for group/company-wide usage
  • Manage the Asset Risk and Governance framework for Operations, including risk management and mitigation, plant modification and case-to-operate processes, ensuring rigorous documentation and compliance
  • Identify opportunities and recommend effective solutions to improve our communication and output across different teams
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting for key risk and project metrics
  • Facilitate quarterly risk reviews and provide clear insights to internal and external stakeholders
  • Continuously and actively work on improving and documenting work processes across teams


Job Requirements and Experiences:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics or related fields; Master’s degree is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of risk management and risk assessment standards is an advantage
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), SharePoint and Teams
  • Quick to adapt, with proven ability to learn and apply digital tools to improve processes and reporting
  • Strong leadership and communication, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables
  • Motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Proven ability to empathize, build relationships across teams, and effectively communicate with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Responds well to direction, is easy to challenge and develop, and is coachable
  • Is detail-oriented, has strong business acumen, and a sound understanding of business concepts

 

Pay range: The annual base salary range for this position in Illinois is $106,000 - $150,000. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RWE considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s education & work experience, training & certifications, and key skills as well as market and business considerations at the time of the offer.
