Job Responsibilities:

  • Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and industry practices related to creditors' rights and foreclosure.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with all applicable legal and ethical standards.
  • Conduct internal audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of case files and documentation.
  • Conduct thorough legal research related to foreclosure laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Assist attorneys in drafting and preparing legal documents such as complaints, motions, and briefs.
  • Review and analyze foreclosure documents, contracts, and financial records.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification from an accredited institution.
  • 3+ years previous experience as a paralegal, preferably in the area of creditors' rights and foreclosure Required.
  • Proficiency in understanding of foreclosure laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in conducting legal research using various resources and platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and case management.
  • Proficiency in using legal software and case management systems.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information in a professional manner.

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift and overtime as needed.
