About the Role:

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing projects from initiation through completion, ensuring that all objectives are met within scope, time, and budget constraints. This role requires coordinating cross-functional teams and managing resources effectively to deliver high-quality project outcomes. The Project Manager will develop detailed project plans and schedules, monitor progress, and adjust plans as necessary to mitigate risks and resolve issues. They will serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing clear communication and comprehensive project documentation throughout the project life cycle. Ultimately, the Project Manager will drive project success by applying best practices in project management and fostering collaboration among team members in Freeport, TX.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project coordination and administration within a professional environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and other project management software tools.
  • Strong understanding of project life cycle methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Experience managing projects in the Freeport, TX area or similar industrial environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum project management methodologies.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Experience with project development in technical or engineering sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project plans and schedules using project management software such as Microsoft Project.
  • Coordinate project activities, resources, and information to ensure timely and successful delivery of project milestones.
  • Manage project documentation, including status reports, risk logs, and change requests, to maintain transparency and accountability.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders, team members, and external partners to align expectations and resolve issues promptly.
  • Monitor project progress against the project life cycle phases and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.

Skills:

The required skills such as project coordination, planning, and scheduling are essential for organizing tasks and managing timelines effectively on a daily basis. Proficiency in Microsoft Project and other project management software enables the Project Manager to create detailed plans, track progress, and adjust schedules dynamically.
