KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Quality Inspectors are primarily responsible for examining materials and products to ensure they adhere to specified criteria. The core duties include:

  • Inspecting the output samples to verify consistent quality and identify deviations from the specification
  • Conducting measurements and tests on products and material for durability, safety, and functionality
  • Documenting inspections outcomes on tablets, etc. by completing reports and logs
  • Assisting in the formulation inspection protocols and efficiency improvement initiatives
  • Bi-weekly warehouse Audits (CHECKLIST)
  • Release of First article in PD Machines
  • Release of First article of new Items (NEW PRODUCTS)
  • Post and update the quality alerts on the manufacturing floor
  • Control and update the Quarantine area
  • Review and release random boxes in the machines
  • Certify and approve the rejected material
  • Monitoring and verifying all the actions relating to customer complaints.
  • Review and release the farm -out material.
  • Control and release the Incoming Inspection area
  • Fill the paperwork relating to PPAP and CPK process
  • Develop a lab test as is necessary

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

The Qualification for Quality auditor is the ability to meet the requirements of the Job with or without accommodations.

  • The ability to read, write and speak English
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and database systems
  • Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to accurately read a measuring tape
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, both orally and in writing
  • Follow instructions, ask questions and work effectively as a member of a team

 Education: High school graduate or equivalent.

Experience: 1-2 yrs Proven experience as a Quality Auditor in the manufacturing sector. Preferably corrugated with knowledge of quality systems and testing procedures 
Computer Skills: MS Office and database systems
Other Requirements Disables: Able to effectively communicate with team members.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

LANGUAGE SKILLS-Must speak, read and write English fluently. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret testing results. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS-Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY-Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Frequent and/or occasional standing and walking throughout an eight-hour shift., reaching, (must be able to reach with hands and arms) pushing, pulling, squatting, kneeling, bending, climbing, lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Other Physical Requirements- Dirt, dust, noise, hot and cold temperatures
