Red Canyon Software is seeking a LabVIEW certified software engineer to support the Orion program out of Denver, CO. In this role, you'll support support the Orion Ground Software Test Set Operations team by designing, developing, testing, integrating, troubleshooting, and upgrading software used in electrical ground support equipment for the Orion spacecraft.

Required:
-9-14 years of relevant experience plus a Bachelor's degree in relevant field
-Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) certification

This work will involve extensive use of NI LabVIEW, including LabVIEW FPGA and LabVIEW Real-Time, to create and maintain test and measurement applications. You will apply advanced knowledge of computer systems, programming architectures, data acquisition hardware, and information processing techniques to deliver reliable and scalable mission solutions.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with applicable software development standards and best practices throughout the lifecycle, working within Linux-based environments, and interfacing with various test and measurement instruments such as power supplies, DAQs, DMMs, switches, and relays. You will also implement and support communication protocols including VISA, TCP/IP, and serial interfaces, and contribute to Agile and DevOps workflows as needed. All work shall be performed in a collaborative team environment with a focus on long-term system reliability and mission success. 

This is a contract opportunity through 10/1/2026 and is to be performed on-site in Denver, CO, with a full-time, flexible work schedule.
