The Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS), Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS), Office of Family Independence (OFI), is seeking candidates for the position of Business Analyst 3 with OFI Training & Professional Development, Instructional Design & Curriculum Development Unit. The work location will be determined by the Director of OFI Training & Professional Development manager with consideration being given to incumbent's place of residence. Statewide travel is a requirement of the position. Possession of a valid driver’s license and consistent access to an insured vehicle is required as a condition of employment. This position reports to OFI instructional Development & Design supervisor and/or manager.

Position Duties
Pay Grade: L
Role and Responsibilities:
- Schedule and facilitate virtual orientation and review sessions; create presentation slides for each OFI program area (SNAP, Medicaid, and ABD).
- Develop, deliver, and coordinate comprehensive trainings for DFCS/OFI policy program.
- Deliver instructor led classroom training as needed.
- Provide voiceover narrative for curriculum products. Perform full editing and post production of all video products utilizing Camtasia software.
- Serve as Ad-Hoc reviewer of materials composed by other trainers.
- Conduct necessary research to develop and teach appropriate training programs.
- Assess staff's training and development needs.
- Evaluate effectiveness of training program.
- Serve as project leader as required.
- Supervise professional/ instructional staff as required.
- Perform other professional responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in communication, English, or public relations from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of experience related to area of assignment.
- One (1) year of experience required at the lower level Busi Support Analyst 2 (GSP131).
Note: An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted year-over-year.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, demonstrate some or all the following education/skills/experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field from an approved accredited college or university AND four (4) years of work experience in an Office of Family Independence Program work unit (e.g., Medicaid, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, etc.) which included 12 months as a Trainer, Supervisor, Field Program Specialist, Error Control Specialist, Team Lead or Lead Worker.
- Master's Degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communication, or a related field from an approved accredited college or university AND one (1) year’s work experience in an Office of Family Independence Program work unit (e.g., SNAP, Medicaid, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, etc.).
- Minimum two (2) years’ work experience as a Trainer, Field Program Specialist, or Compliance Monitor/Error Control Specialist in an Office of Family Independence Program work unit (e.g., SNAP, Medicaid, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, etc.).
- Proficiency in technology used for training and instructional design (LMS, Articulate, Camtasia, Office 365, Canva).
- 2 years of experience as a project manager.
- 2 years of experience developing curriculums that promote an interactive environment.
- 2 years of experience with design software (Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia Studio, and SnagIt)
