Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment. In this role, you’ll work closely with providers and patients to ensure the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities:

· Greet, room, and prepare patients for examinations

· Take and record vital signs and medical history

· Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures

· Administer medications and injections as directed

· Perform basic laboratory procedures and collect specimens

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR)

· Clean and stock exam rooms and ensure clinical areas are organized

· Provide patient education and instructions per provider guidelines

· Support front office functions as needed, including scheduling and follow-ups

· Ensure adherence to all clinical protocols and HIPAA compliance

Medical Specialty:

• Dermatology 

Requirements

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program

· Current Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) required

· Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare setting preferred

· Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems 

· Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills

· Compassionate, team-oriented, and committed to quality care

License/Certification:

• EMA/EHR certification (Preferred)
• CPR/BLS (Preferred)
