We're Hiring: Executive Assistant to the CEO

Columbia, SC | Full-Time 

  

Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina (PCSC) is a compassionate Christian ministry dedicated to enriching the quality of life for seniors of all faiths. We are seeking a highly organized and mission-aligned Executive Assistant to the CEO to support our leadership team and help ensure the smooth operation of our Management Services Office (MSO).


About the Role


This position provides direct administrative support to the CEO, coordinates governance and regulatory functions, manages office operations, and serves as the welcoming presence at the MSO front desk. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to PCSC’s values of Service, Excellence, Relationships, Teamwork, and Stewardship.


Key Responsibilities:


Executive Support

• Manage calendars, meeting prep, travel, and expense reimbursements

• Assist with correspondence and preparation of presentations

• Track action items and assist with projects

• Maintain contract files and help organize policies and procedures


Governance & Compliance

• Coordinate Board of Trustees meetings and Board committee meetings, including logistics and documentation

• Assist with regulatory filings and license renewals

• Support legal functions and maintain corporate files


Office Management

• Oversee office supplies, vendor coordination, and facility upkeep

• Manage catering and event logistics

• Develop and support implementation of office procedures and systems

• Assist with management of fleet vehicles


What We’re Looking For?


Minimum Requirements

• Associate degree

• 2+ years of relevant administrative experience

• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Strong attention to detail and discretion with confidential information


Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree

• 4+ years of experience in a corporate or nonprofit setting

• Familiarity with board governance and regulatory compliance

• Above-average math skills
