Job Description:Key Responsibilities:
Hands-on expertise with Asset Manager Tool, ServiceNow, CMDB, CSDM, and SACM processes.
Develop, implement, and maintain best practice standards, policies, and procedures for planning, recording, monitoring, and maintaining hardware and software assets.
Design and implement continuous lifecycle management of configuration items (CIs).
Ensure SACM processes are fit for purpose, compliant with regulations, and aligned with organizational norms.
Responsible for process design, framework creation, and governance.
Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure process effectiveness.
Manage new requirements and changes to SACM processes.
Coordinate design work for CI and Asset discovery, integrations, and data import methods.
Collaborate with IT stakeholders and business leaders to improve asset management practices and ensure cost-effectiveness.
Support related IT processes such as Change, Problem, and Release Management.
Monitor, review, and support audits, ensuring compliance with standards.
Provide coaching and guidance to CMDB stakeholders to ensure strong understanding of configuration and asset management, including its link to Change Management and other ITIL processes.
Represent SACM requirements in Demand Boards, prioritizing process-related IT developments.
Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and process improvements to enhance IT efficiency and effectiveness.
