Unionville-Chadds Ford School District 

12-month position, 8 hours/day, 260 days/year

Salary $26.00 to $28.30

 

 

Reports to Supervisor of Food Service 

 

Job Summary:  Assist the Supervisor of Food Services in the coordination, planning, implementation, and evaluation of all school food service operations.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: To successfully perform this position, a person must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily.  The qualification requirements listed below represent minimum levels of educational achievement, training, skills, and/or ability necessary.

 

  1. High School Diploma 
  2. Food Handler or Serve Safe certification required
  3. Food service management and catering experience required
  4. Working knowledge of kitchen equipment and production
  5. Working knowledge of computer applications to include POS operation and reporting, production records, email, online ordering systems, HAACP recording
  6. Accuracy when dealing with money and reconciling figures
  7. Excellent leadership and customer service skills
  8. Flexibility and dependability
  9. Must successfully complete and maintain compliance with all federal and state background and criminal record check requirements 
  10. Candidate must adhere to all local, state, federal, and school code requirements for employment.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Employee must have the ability to perform the following essential functions on a timely basis with or without reasonable accommodations.

 

  1. Fills Cafeteria Manager vacancies when necessary. 
  2. Prepares all employees’ payroll documents. Monitors all employee time clock records on the Time Clock Management Program for the District Payroll System.
  3. Maintains accounts receivable files: handles cash receipts, verifies daily sheets, makes bank deposits, transfers monies, and prepares monthly bills.
  4. Maintains accounts payable files: handles cash disbursements, monitors purchase orders, and submits bills.
  5. Submits weekly orders to vendors for six facilities.
  6. Assists with RevTrak and PrimeroEdge technical support for families and staff.
  7. Coordinates catering orders.
  8. Assists with uniform distribution and fee reimbursement.
  9. Oversees staff vending machine program. 
  10. Inputs menus into POS software
  11. Provides related office and technical support to the department as needed.
  12. Assists with the collection of documentation for state and federal audits.
  13. Regular and consistent attendance.
  14. Performs other related duties as assigned.
