Job Summary:
This position is the primary technical consultant for selling Nexxen’s technology solutions to prospects at ad agencies, brands and partners. As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you’ll be the primary technical partner to our sales team - responsible for all pre-sales strategy, solution design, and technical expertise in the development and implementation of client-level solutions. The goal is to make our data meaningful, designing campaign level solutions that bring confidence to every client conversation.
You will lead the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working across internal and external stakeholders as the key technical advisor for Nexxen’s platform. Beyond technical validation, this role is about owning solution strategy, shaping multimillion-dollar campaigns, and influencing revenue outcomes.
The ideal candidate will be fluent in articulating technology and solution positioning to both business and technical audiences, able to present confidently to C-level executives, and capable of building and maintaining trusted long-term client relationships throughout the sales cycle. You’ll need to thrive in situations with little direction, shaping solutions on the fly, and helping clients see what’s possible.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-stakes presentations and live product demonstrations that translate complex data into compelling stories for prospective clients.
- Lead solution strategy for strategic opportunities, influencing deals ranging from $500K+ to multimillion-dollar annual agreements.
- Own and author technical responses to RFIs/RFPs, ensuring alignment with client objectives and maximizing win rates by 20–30%.
- Evangelize Nexxen’s platform at field events, trade shows, training seminars, and private executive sessions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients by providing insights and best practices on how Nexxen’s technology can maximize campaign effectiveness and improve ROI by measurable margins.
- Guide product integrations during the sales process, removing blockers and ensuring technical readiness.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Support to ensure client needs influence roadmap priorities and GTM strategy.
- Collect and document customer requirements, developing use cases that inform product development and roadmap investment.
- Conduct market research and contribute to go-to-market narratives that differentiate Nexxen from competitors.
- Travel up to 25% nationally to support regional sales teams and strategic clients.
Desired Characteristics/Skills/Experience:
- 6+ years in a pre-sales engineering, technical consulting, or solution engineering role within adTech, SaaS, or marTech.
- 4+ years client-facing experience, with a proven record of engaging executive stakeholders and leading enterprise-level solution design.
- Deep understanding of DSPs, DMPs, ad serving, and programmatic advertising ecosystems, including digital media buying, identity, measurement, and data integrations.
- Demonstrated ability to influence 7- and 8-figure pipeline opportunities.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to simplify complexity, author persuasive proposals, and deliver compelling C-level presentations.
- Proven consultative abilities with a customer-first, solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong technical acumen, including data storytelling, SQL proficiency, APIs, SDKs, and data integration processes.
- Experience in digital advertising campaign setup, management, optimization, and reporting, with an eye toward measurable impact (lift, incremental reach, cost efficiency).
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or another analytical/quantitative discipline preferred.
In support of pay transparency and equity, the minimum and maximum full-time annual base salary for this role in NY is $120,000 - 150,000 the time of posting, with the potential of an incentive or bonus. While this is our reasonable expectation this is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, certifications, responsibility, and geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
