What You Will Do:

  • Coordinate establishment of new bank accounts as necessary.
  • Coordinate with banks to ensure required services are included in relevant treasury agreements.
  • Serve as a System Administrator for online banking platforms.
  • Review treasury agreements and other bank documentation, providing required documentation from entities as necessary.
  • Prepare bank paperwork for authorized signatories.
  • Review joint venture agreements, partnership agreements and loan documents to identify treasury requirements.
  • Coordinate with property management staff upon lease up to transition for specific bank account needs.
  • Maintain accurate and complete bank account tracking schedule, including number of accounts and summary balance at each institution.
  • Process, monitor, and verify electronic funds transfers (EFTs) between banks, ensuring accuracy, security and regulatory compliance.
  • Implement ancillary systems to assist in banking activities including remote scanning, bill pay, bank feeds (Sage/FISPAN) and accounting software systems integrations; set up new users as necessary.
  • Monitor closed project bank accounts and drive account closure process upon approval of closure.
  • Positive pay – Upload positive pay file and review daily list of exceptions (ACH/Check) for all corporate and joint venture accounts.
  • Provide support for AP (Accounts Payable) function.
  • Maintain and track funding for bi-weekly payroll and related benefits programs; to include entering/reconciling reporting for payroll.
  • Develop and implement treasury systems, policies and processes that enhance controls and create efficiencies.
  • Assist in preparation of company distributions to Alliance partners.
  • Any other duties as assigned or directed.

What You Will Need To Succeed:

  • Bachelor'S degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • Prior treasury experience
  • Prior experience working at or with financial institutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and relate effectively, productively, and positively with other Associates and owner contacts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask efficiently
  • High degree of responsibility and initiative
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Dependable, punctual, and reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work a schedule that may include hours other than 8-5 Monday through Friday, including overtime, depending on business needs.
