Job Summary: 

The Project Manager reports into the Director of Project Management. Will be responsible for building, reviewing and documenting all projects submitted through marketing, using Workfront, a project workflow management system. Project auditing, resource allocation, problem solving, reporting and administrative tasks are key responsibilities. The PM will partner with the DPM in change management initiatives throughout marketing.

The PM also plans, organizes, secures, and leverages resources and tasks to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives with a clear understanding of how projects impact the overall business. Responsibilities include partnering with various stakeholders in project creation and alignment of strategic plan, as well as being solution oriented around project constraints. Supports all marketing efforts as needed and is comfortable in offering alternative recommendations (as needed).  

Primary Functions:

  • Partners with Leadership, Director of Project Management, Project Managers, Marketing and other department team members to drive successful completion of the project lifecycle: defining scope, planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Manages end to end campaign development process with stakeholders globally. Concept through deployment.
  • Manage growth and sales enablement projects.
  • Ability to navigate difficult conversations as they relate to projects with varying levels within the marketing department.
  • Set up meetings, organize documentation of training, strategies.
  • Own milestone meetings, notes and next-step action items.
  • Autonomously build and manage projects in workflow management system driving efficiencies.
  • Anticipate information needs, identify gaps and organize data and reporting communications cohesively and clearly.
  • Audit projects to ensure complete details are provided prior to final scheduling and kickoff.
  • Allocate resources for projects as they launch and adjust schedules throughout project lifecycle as needed.
  • Alert project owners, management or team members when projects are at-risk of missing target dates and level-setting expectations.
  • Provide support and solutions for the team, when workflow problems have been identified.
  • Manage profiles, requests, and drive technical support for the team.
  • Comfort in working with external agencies.
  • Coordinates the work activities of multiple functions to ensure satisfying delivery of the assigned projects.

Knowledge and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Proficient with Project Management Systems and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with using Workfront & Proofing Workflows
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet/exceed deadlines
  • Ability to adjust to change in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a high volume of quick to market requests
  • Ability to work autonomously with proficient time management skills
