Job Summary

Pittsburgh, PA | Mount Lebanon

• Start Date: September 29, 2025, but open to considering caregivers with a later start date. This is a temp position through March 2026
• Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 7 am – 6 pm (guaranteed 33 hours/week). Family is open to adding additional hours on Tuesday’s or the weekend if the right fit is interested. Sept 29 - Oct 10, Monday - Friday care is needed.
• Hourly Rate: $27–30/hour
• Children: 3.5-year-old and 18-month-old; primary care is for the 18-month-old
• No Pets
• Paid Vacation: PTO accrued with time
• Requirements: standard vaccinations, though documentation is not required

Responsibilities and Duties

• WHO/WHAT: This Mt. Lebanon family just traded NYC apartment life for the wide-open wonder of Pittsburgh suburbs, and they’re looking for a loving, trustworthy nanny to help guide their little ones through this exciting new chapter. Think of this role as stepping into the heart of a busy but joyful family life: mornings start with structure, days unfold with exploration and play, and laughter is the soundtrack to it all. Your primary focus will be caring for their energetic, affectionate toddler, whose adventurous spirit and curiosity keep the home buzzing with joy. On rare days, you’ll also spend time with his big sister when school is closed—bringing even more fun and creativity to your day. Both parents work outside of the home, so your presence will bring the consistency and calm that their family needs during busy workweeks. The family values structure—especially around mornings, naps, and routines—but they balance it with plenty of room for imagination, play, and discovering the joy in everyday moments. Daily responsibilities include children’s laundry, bottles, vacuuming, sweeping, and other child-related household tasks. If you’re comfortable driving, the family would love for you to take their toddler on occasional excursions to playgrounds and parks (though plenty are within walking distance). While this is a seven-month role before their son enters daycare full-time, they’re hoping to welcome someone who feels like part of the family right away—reliable, kind, and ready to bring calm and joy to a household in transition.
