The Manager, Global Tax will oversee the development and implementation of tax-related protocols to ensure compliance with global tax laws and prevent audit or fraud risk.
Responsibilities / Essential Job Functions
- Oversee global tax process, 3rd party providers, and US tax provision.
- Coordinate with external tax teams to file federal and state tax returns in a timely manner.
- Manage partnership and sales and use tax process and filings.
- Develop tax strategies to optimize tax savings.
- Identify tax inefficiencies and develop solutions.
- Complete responses and schedules in preparation for income tax audits.
- Monitor developments in tax legislation and inform management and staff of developments.
- Review tax returns.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients.
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or taxation.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
- 7 years of experience as an in-house tax manager or public accountant.
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- The ability to work with taxation software.
- Extensive knowledge of tax legislation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Sound problem-solving skills.
