Physical Therapy Supervisor chez Griffin Health

Overview:
Griffin Health is seeking an experienced and dedicated Physical Therapy Supervisor to join our dynamic Rehabilitation Services Department. In this leadership role, you will work in collaboration with the Department Director, Manager, and other Supervisors to oversee the daily operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the management of daily departmental operations to support optimal patient care and clinical efficiency.

• Coordinate staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and continuity of services.

• Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and support to physical therapy staff.

• Oversee and refine operational processes to enhance patient outcomes and team performance.

• Plan, organize, and implement medically prescribed physical therapy evaluation and treatment programs.

• Monitor compliance with clinical standards, documentation requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

• Support staff development through ongoing training and performance evaluations.

• Serve as a liaison between physical therapy staff and other healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Connecticut (or eligible).

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

• Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical experience as a physical therapist; supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and support a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
