About the Role:
The Vice President of Sales & Marketing will lead the strategic direction and execution of all sales and marketing initiatives within our durable goods manufacturing company. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and enhancing brand presence in a competitive industry. The VP will collaborate closely with product development, operations, and executive leadership to align sales and marketing strategies with overall business objectives. They will oversee the development and implementation of innovative marketing campaigns, sales processes, and customer engagement strategies to maximize profitability. Ultimately, this position is responsible for building and leading a high-performing team that consistently meets or exceeds ambitious sales targets while fostering strong customer relationships.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sales and marketing leadership roles within the durable goods manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of successfully leading sales teams to achieve or exceed revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis in manufacturing.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related discipline.
- Experience with digital marketing strategies and CRM platforms specific to manufacturing sales.
- Demonstrated success in launching new products and entering new markets.
- Familiarity with international sales and marketing practices.
- Leadership experience in a multi-site or global manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:

- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for sales and marketing activities to ensure efficient resource allocation and ROI.

- Drive brand awareness and positioning through targeted marketing campaigns, digital initiatives, and trade shows.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sales and marketing programs, making data-driven decisions to optimize results.
