The Boar’s Head Sports Club is seeking an energetic and imaginative Childcare Assistant Manager to help us inspire young minds and support a safe, nurturing space where kids can play, learn and grow.
In this role, you’ll be more than a supervisor — you’ll be a mentor, activity leader, and a key part of our childcare team. From planning camps and events to keeping children safe and supporting parents, you’ll help make every day in our childcare program positive and memorable for members and resort guests.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The Boar’s Head Sports Club, indoors and outdoors.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Foster a safe, clean, and welcoming environment where children can thrive.
· Design and lead creative, athletic and educational activities that spark curiosity and fun, supporting Childcare curriculum.
· Serve as the primary contact for School Day’s Out camps and birthday parties, ensuring an organized and enjoyable experience.
· Build strong connections with parents through professional, positive communication.
· Support and train childcare providers, ensuring smooth daily operations.
· Manage accurate records, reservations and sign-in/out procedures.
· Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and program policies.
· Jump in with energy — whether it’s decorating the room, keeping play areas tidy and organized or light housekeeping as needed.
· Contribute ideas that enhance the childcare experience for both children and families.
· Serve as Manager-on-Duty in absence of Childcare Program Director.
· Address facility needs through Maintenance ticket system promptly.
Requirements
Required:
- Degree in a child-related field (e.g. elementary education, nursing, recreation)
- A natural leader who brings creativity, enthusiasm, and positivity to every day.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communicator who works well with children, parents, and team members.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn Brightwheel childcare management system.
- Flexible, dependable, and eager to contribute to a team environment.
- Previous childcare or related supervisory experience preferred.
