Are you a parent with a love for basketball? Want to be more involved in your child's program while making a difference and earning extra income? Join our coaching team and help lead our youth basketball program while promoting teamwork, skill development, and sportsmanship in a fun and safe environment.

Position Overview:

We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to coach youth basketball. Coaches will work with children of varying ages and skill levels, focusing on age-appropriate skill development, game strategy, and creating a positive team experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach basketball fundamentals, rules, and strategies
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and fun environment for all participants
• Manage and care for team equipment
• Communicate practice and game schedules clearly with parents and participants
• Find a substitute and notify a supervisor in advance if you are unable to coach a session
• Represent the acac brand positively and professionally at all times
• Stay informed about acac programming to answer parent/member questions knowledgeably

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 1 year of experience coaching or working with children
• A genuine interest in mentoring young athletes
• Ability to demonstrate and instruct basketball skills
• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma preferred
• Parents of program participants are encouraged to apply!
