We are looking for an experienced jeweller who has the ability to process all kinds of jewellery repairs, from maintenance and generic services to complex requirements in complicated repairs.

This role requires someone who is able to follow specific brand guidelines and decide the best suitable repair approach to reach expected lead-time with the ability to develop and manufacture special tools for different requirements. The role will work in a customer service orientated space and so good communication skills and a solution focused mindset are essential.

 

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

Key Responsibilities

  • Estimate the volume and needs of each individual service and repair request with a technical evaluation and quotation according to brand pricelist.
  • To repair all kind of high-Jewellery defect, generic services, scope with complicate items.
  • Carry out bracelet and necklace chain extension or length reduction.
  • Ring-Sizing +/-; traditional technic, with ring-guard.
  • Re-shape deformed items
  • Polishing / Lapping of Jewellery
  • Rhodium plating
  • Maintenance of workshop and tools
  • In-time completions
  • Spare part ordering, stock keeping and minimum quantity stock keeping.
  • Quality checks
  • Jewellery Engraving

 

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Jewellery Repair
  • Familiar with 18Kt. Gold in different colour, Platinum
  • Familiar with different sensitive materials: (Gemstones, Pearls, Wood, Porcelain, Resin, etc.)
  • Familiar with Fire-Soldering and Laser-Welding
  • Familiar with Computer Skills (MS Office, Internet, E-Mail)
  • Skills in polishing and Lapping
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Experience in Stone-Setting would be plus
  • Plating Skills would be a plus (Rhodium)
