Salary Info

Starting salary is $21.16 per hour with four annual incremental increases to $25.74 and benefits up to $1,014.27 per month for single health coverage, $1,639.27 for 2-party, or $1,789.27 for family (includes medical, dental, life, vision, and TSA options)

This office is establishing an open eligibility list for the Cafeteria Assistant position. Candidates on the eligibility list may be considered for any full-time, part-time, or limited-term positions occurring for this job classification. Full-time and part-time schedules may be available: Full-time work schedule: Monday - Thursday 10:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. and Friday 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Part-time work schedule: Monday - Thursday 3:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. NOTE: “Additional Questions” are included in the application form and will be used in the initial screening process. Applicants considered most qualified by a screening panel will continue in the selection process. It is in your best interest to answer these questions as fully as possible. LOCATION: This position is based at the Sly Park Conservation and Environmental Education Center near Pollock Pines, CA. Pollock Pines is located 50 miles east of Sacramento, CA. EXAM PROCESS: Qualified applicants who pass the applicant screening process will receive a notice indicating the next steps in the process, which is a written and oral exam.
