Description

About Lorenz Clinic

Lorenz Clinic is a mission-driven mental health organization dedicated to restoring wholeness in relational systems. We are one of Minnesota’s largest providers of outpatient family psychology, with multiple clinic sites, a nationally recognized training program, and a commitment to systemic, developmentally attuned care. Our clinicians are our most vital resource, and our operations team exists to ensure they can focus on what they do best: serving clients.

Position Summary

The Operations Manager is a key member of our management team, reporting to the COO. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and central to keeping our clinics running smoothly. From troubleshooting IT and facility issues to coordinating cross-functional projects, the Operations Manager is often the first to spot a problem—and the first to solve it.

This is an individual contributor role (no direct reports today), but with a high ceiling. The right candidate will have the opportunity to grow into a Director of Operations role in the coming years, and potentially even COO-level leadership over time.

If you thrive on solving problems, building systems, and supporting people in a sensitive, mission-driven environment, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a central point of contact for operational needs across multiple clinic locations
  • Troubleshoot IT and systems issues (password resets, Google Workspace, Jira/Confluence, HubSpot) and coordinate with vendors as needed
  • Support clinicians by resolving day-to-day issues that get in the way of care delivery
  • Oversee facilities-related needs, including managing vendor relationships (e.g., electrical, maintenance, supplies)
  • Coordinate projects that improve workflows, communication, and clinic efficiency
  • Protect tone under pressure, maintaining calm and collaborative relationships with staff across departments
  • Participate as a member of the management team, helping bridge clinical, administrative, and operational priorities

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred)
  • 3+ years of operations or management experience in a service-driven, fast-paced setting (healthcare, retail, hospitality, spa/salon, or similar)
  • Comfortable working independently and making sound judgment calls on the spot
  • Strong technical fluency with Google Workspace; experience with Jira, Confluence, or HubSpot is a plus
  • Resourceful, fearless problem-solver who can balance scrappy fixes with building systems
  • Relational and collaborative, with the ability to support a highly sensitive clinician workforce
  • Willingness to travel between clinic locations; standard business hours with occasional evenings/weekends for urgent issues

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $60,000–$75,000 annually, depending on experience
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement contributions, and paid time off
  • Professional development and future career growth opportunities

How to Apply

If you’re a smart, resourceful operator with a “get it done” mentality—and you’re ready to make a difference in mental health—we’d love to hear from you.
