Hand Cut Chophouse Scottsdale is currently looking for a talented Shift Lead (Front of House) to join our team! This position will report to the General Manager of the location and is anticipated to work 5 shifts per week (30-35 hours).

We're searching for a candidate who can:

  • Supervise and coordinate front-of-house activities to ensure efficient and timely service.
  • Maintain high standards of service, hospitality, and customer satisfaction by regularly inspecting dining areas, monitoring guest feedback, and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Assist with scheduling and assigning shifts for FOH personnel, balancing workload and optimizing labor efficiency.
  • Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to customer concerns or complaints regarding service, food quality, or overall dining experience.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Work as a team player and actively contribute to the success of the restaurant.
  • Other supportive functions as determined by the Manager.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of managing operations, leading a team, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with guests, staff, and management.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure with a positive attitude.
  • Proficiency in using POS systems.
  • Must be fluent in English language – bilingual preferred (Spanish).
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Current Food Manager and Alcohol Certification (Title 4 Basic & Title 4 Management), or ability to obtain.
