Homeoffice Director of Professional Billing - WakeMed Physician Practices chez WakeMed Health & Hospitals

Overview:Responsible for providing leadership in the overall management of Physician Coding, Billing, Provider Enrollment, Claims and Denial Management Processes. To ensure accurate reimbursement of claims submitted for payment, the Director is responsible for establishing and maintaining processes that support the timely and accurate billing and timely follow up of submitted claims. The Director is responsible for overseeing the processes related to accurate coding and timely release of accounts. The Director provides leadership to the educators for the physicians and professional coders. In the role, the Director provides overall management of provider enrollment for all payors. The Director also serves as the chief liaison between Revenue Cycle and Information Services to identify resolutions to reduce denials and write offs. In this role, the Director maintains knowledge of third-party regulations for all payers, including governmental and commercial payers to ensure all activities are in compliance with Federal, State and all third party regulatory requirements. Develops strong working relationship in order to maximize reimbursement potential through effective problem resolution.Department Description:
