With schools dating back to the 1870s, the award-winning Riverside Unified School District (RUSD) is now the 16th largest school district in California. RUSD educates nearly 42,000 students across 50 schools in Riverside. The District serves a large portion of Riverside as well as the unincorporated areas of Highgrove and Woodcrest. RUSD is led by its 13th Superintendent, Dr. Sonia Llamas and is governed by a Board of Education comprised of publicly elected officials who serve five different trustee areas.
Requirements / Qualifications

-Valid Credential/Permit or Activity Supervisor Clearance Certificate (ASCC).
-Valid CPR/First Aid Certificate. (Online course will not be accepted.)
-Valid Concussion Training Certificate.
-Valid Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training.
-Valid Heat Illness Certificate
-Valid Fundamentals of Coaching Certificate

SALARY:
Placement on the July 1, 2025 Coaching Stipends-Salary Schedule: One year of step credit for each year of previous coaching experience equivalent to public school paid experience, not to exceed 10 years. Stipend may be split.

$4,487.00 - $5,975.00 (Coaching Stipend will vary dependent upon placement on salary schedule and may be a split stipend)
Comments and Other Information
After a conditional offer of employment, applicants will be required to pay the cost of all pre-employment processing which may include: physical examinations, drug/alcohol screening, TB screening questionnaire, and fingerprints. Additionally applicants will be required to complete/participate in the following: AB1432 Mandated Reporting training, Safety training, and Technology Acceptable Use.
