TMRW Sports is hiring an enthusiastic expert to build a state-of-the-art team, product, and fan experience from the grounds up. Reporting to our Director of Turn Management, our match-day Greenskeeper will be onsite helping to maintain a tournament ready playing surface. If you enjoy caring for grass, you’ll love maintaining the surfaces for our world-class athletes, passionate fans, and viewers around the globe. 

This is a part-time, seasonal role with flexible scheduling. This person will work approximately 20 hours a week and will run from early November to late March. 

Responsibilities 

• Assist in maintaining natural and synthetic grass surfaces
• Operate maintenance equipment such as: mowers, blowers, carts, turf trolleys, forklifts, edgers, and power tools
• Rotate the playing surface from indoor and outdoor growing areas to the stadium field of play. Post match, these will be moved back outside into their growing conditions
• Responsible for ongoing maintenance of sand bunkers and moisture management within the venue during live matches
• Learn, understand, and utilize modern turfgrass technology including grow lighting, data collection devices, and robotic instruments.
• Manage additional duties on event days, including but not limited to repairing divots, raking bunkers, turf grooming, moisture management, cup setting, and more

Requirements

• Experience growing and maintaining greens for sports play, ideally at a golf course
• Demonstrated experience thriving in fast-paced and high-pressure environments
• Ability to work inside and outside in all kinds of weather, exposed to a variety of environment elements
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for an extended period of time
• Ability to lift heavy objects as needed
• Passion for golf is a big plus!

Location

This role is based at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

Schedule/Availability

This position will begin in early November, helping to prep the green for trainings and TGL rehearsals. Beginning in late December, this position will revolve around TGL matches, which will be about a five hour block (two hours prior to match, two hour broadcast and one hour post match). The exact schedule is negotiable in order to accommodate class and/or work schedules.
