Responsibilities:
- Execute revisions to existing documents, or create new, per customer requests.
- Set-up, produce and finish wide format applications, including dimensional cutting.
- Maintain a basic understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud and other software as required.
- Review work orders to determine proper setup and job workflow for high-speed digital printers.
- Format and impose electronic files for printing.
- Perform output validation on digital production output and adjust as required.
- Order and maintain adequate consumable printer supplies.
- Ensure continual functional operation of printers including general user maintenance and coordinating vendor service calls.
- Ability to train for the operation of any device in the digital fleet, including fronted software.
- Ensure working areas, conditions and equipment are safe and free from obstruction to perform duties.
- Follow all equipment and building safety procedures.
What we need:
- High school diploma.
- 0-2 years’ experience working with digital printers.
- Ability to learn digital press front end control and workflow software(s), Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Strong math skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Attention to detail.
- Organizational and safety skills.
- Workflow planning experience.
What we offer:
- Pay: The hourly pay for this position is $19.00. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. Candidates outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be considered based on experience, skill, and education.
- Work Arrangements: This is a full-time on-site hourly position: 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day), Monday- Friday, with flexible start time between 7 a.m.-9 a.m. On-site positions work at our Print, Mail, and Distribution Center in Rock Island, IL.
