About the Department
The Clinical Manager is responsible for the planning, organizing, delivery and evaluation of the care coordination and support services within the Care Coordination and Support Services Organization (CCSO). Directly supervises the Care Coordination Supervisors and others as assigned.
Scheduled Hours: 40 hours a week- Monday - Friday (8:30am - 5:00pm)
Position Duties
- Responsible for the clinical oversight of CCSO services.
- Provides clinical and administrative supervision and development for CCSO staff, including completion of evaluations.
- Monitors the programs adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Assures ongoing compliance with Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center, Joint Commission Accreditation of Health Organization, federal and state standards and regulations.
- Works collaboratively with other internal programs and external agencies.
- Obtains monthly service statistics and provides other statistical information.
- Promotes and facilitates the professional development of program staff by means of in-service training sessions.
- Provides direction on the scope, types, and evaluation of clinical and administrative programming that is offered utilizing published best practices and empirically proven clinical methodologies.
- Demonstrates leadership abilities in conducting administrative and clinical meetings and ensures effective communication among all staff regarding administrative and clinical issues.
- Participates in councils or workgroups as assigned.
- Maintains accountability standards required by LCHD/CHC and funding sources relative to quality and quantity of services provided by staff members.
- Conducts, coordinates, and supervises the program and regular review of clinical records.
- Involved in quality improvement activities such as the programs performance measurements on an ongoing basis.
Minimum Qualifications
- Physician
- Licensed advanced practice registered nurse with psychiatric specialty
- Licensed clinical psychologist
- Licensed clinical professional counselor
- Licensed marriage and family therapist
- Licensed clinical social worker.
- Two (2) years’ supervisor experience.
- Requires use of personal vehicle for case management activities, client appointments, crisis response, community outreach or other job-related activities.
